Download Your FTP Client
Here are the steps to download your FTP client.
1. Go to download.com and perform a search for FTP client. List at least three FTP clients.
(this site is blocked so you will go to the following site: http://www.ftpplanet.com/downloadLE.asp)2. Select the WS_FTP LE 6.0 program to download. This program is free to schools and students. You will have to register to download the program. You should uncheck the box at the end of the form asking if you want to receive news from this company unless you want such information.
3. Once you have completed the information click on the download button to download the program. Click on the Install button to continue the installation. The install wizard will walk you through the installation.
4. Once you have completed the installation go to Sart > Programs and select WS_FTP to start the FTP client.
5. Complete the FTP Tutorial next. This is a great site with lots of useful information. Read through the information on FTP and demonstrate your successful use of WS_FTP for teacher check.
