Part 3: Controlling Your Robot

At this point your tablet and robot should already be paired using bluetooth. If they are not then return to Part 2: Connecting to your Robot before proceeding.

1. Now open the BaseEV3Project in app inventor.

2. The one modification you will need is to add the bluetooth address of your robot to the code. Move to the far right to the variables and find the global ev3BluetoothAddress. Copy the bluetooth address you found for your brick into this spot.

Use your bluetooth address, not the one shown here.

3. You are now ready to run the app. Experiment with the different controls to see how they work.

4. Demonstrate your control of the robot using the EV3 app._________________
