Career Research Project Part 5
Required Education

Welcome back! We will be on this new schedule for the rest of the year. 3rd & 4th Periods now "meet" on Wednesdays. All work will now be posted on Canvas with one Module due each week. Here is this weeks Module

Careers Research Project- Required Education
Complete the following and submit to Canvas.

Name of your career -

Name of Degree or Certificate -
The specific name of the degree or certificate required for your career - refer to your career detail slides (BA is not enough, you must indicate what the degree will be in. If a degree is not required then what training is required? For example if you were going to be an electrician then an apprenticeship would be required).

School Name - what is the specific school you will be attending to attain this degree or training?

Location - the physical address of your school

Courses and units - what courses and units will you need to take to earn your degree - you must name the courses and indicate the number of units the course is worth. You may include the abbreviation for the course but the NAME is required. (CIS 100 does not mean a lot)
This will take up most of your time. Most of the time this information can be found in the school catalog (not the schedule). The school catalog is where majors and their requirements are listed. Break down the courses by year:

Lower Division Units:
Year 1:
Year 2:
Upper Division Units:
Year 3:
Year 4:
Grad Units:
Year 5
Year 6

BS in Cell and Molecular Biology at SFSU - a quick google search led directly to this page which lists all of the required courses for this degree. This is the type of list you should have.
