Classroom Rules

I will work with you to create a classroom environment that is safe and promotes learning. Behavior that disrupts learning is not acceptable behavior. The following rules are meant to promote a safe learning environment for all students. Failure to abide by the class rules will result in removal from class.

1. During class work students may talk softly to those sitting next to them. Loud comments that disrupt the class are not acceptable. During class notes or discussions only one person is allowed to speak at a time.

2. No rough housing at any time, keep your hands to yourself.

3. Once class work is completed students may use their free time in a manner that does not distract other students.

4. Students must ask to get a drink and may be required to wait until an appropriate time to be excused.
