Welcome to CAD Semester Two
The focus of this semester will be on Architectural Design. You will be introduced to a new CAD program that is designed specifically for architecutral drawings, ArchiCAD. If you are interested in obtaining your own copy of this program go to www.graphisoft.com for information on the student edition that can be downloaded and installed for free. Be careful, the system requirements are pretty high, if you have a newer computer it will probably be OK.

Discussion of different house designs and general rules to follow.

Make a list of the features that you would like your house to include.
How many rooms? types of rooms? garage? 1 story or 2 story?
