Lego Robot

 

Part 9: Robot App Page

1. Create a Robot App Page under your My Apps section.
2. Snip a picture of your user interface and place this on your page. Be sure the image shows the buttons you created.
3. Find an image of the EV3 Robot and place it next to your app image. Briefly describe what your app does (remember the reader may not have done the lab).
4. Download the .aia file for your app (Projects > Export selected project to my computer) to your computer and then upload it to your web site.
5. Download the .apk file for your app (Build > Save .apk to my computer) and then upload it to your web site.
6. Copy the code for two of the buttons you created and explain how the code for each button works.

Reflection Questions:

1. What was the hardest part of working with the robot?
2. What was the advantage of using the TouchDown button procedure when controlling your robot?
3. If you had to make your own controller from scratch what controlls would you add?
4. What are the advantages of using the bluetooth connection with your robot?
5. I downloaded your app to my tablet but it did not work with my robot, why not? (if you are not sure why not review the steps in the Lego Lab Index.)
6. What could you do to make your program to make it work for any EV3 robot?
7. Show your page to your instructor for teacher check.
