Video Announcements! - anyone interested in creating the video announcements for Sequoia?
What is the purpose of this video? Describe some of the shot sequences. Does this video demonstrate continuity? How?
Continuity Project - create a short video that contains three shot sequences with each sequence being at least 3 shots. First Shot Sequence - use the three basic shots of any movie to create the first scene of a movie, the LS, MS, CU in that order. Your subject(s) must be a person or persons.
Repeat this process two more times with two different scenes. You may use a different shot sequence for these two new sequences but it must show continuity.
Edit your shots into a short video
and be sure that each sequence is telling a story or at least part of a story. Add an appropriate title to each sequence.
Here are the specs for your video:
1. You must have three shot sequences, three shots each (more is OK) with the following shots, LS, MS, CU in your first sequence. For the other sequences you do not have to follow this order but you must still maintain contunuity. Label all three shot sequences with an appropriate name - best to use the Lower Thirds title for this.
2. Add a 5 second title with black background and 5 second closing credits with black background
3. Add appropriate music to your video that fades in at the beginning and fades out at the end.
Submit your video to Google classroom Today!
The Silent Short - meet with your group for this project and begin working on your Scene and Shot List. You must have at least 24 different shots and each shot must be listed with enough detail so I could shoot your movie without your help.
Submit your completed shot list to Google Classroom
Once your group has your shot list you can begin shooting.
