Shots, Scenes and Sequences - like words, sentences, paragraphs and stories.

The Silent Short - meet with your group for this project and begin working on your Scene and Shot List. You must have at least 24 different shots and each shot must provide the following detail:
Shot # - Location - Subject/Action - Shot Type - Camera Angle - Camera Movement
1 - Tea Garden - Mr. Dodge relaxing in a red chair - Wide Shot - Eye level - Pan left to right ending on Mr. Dodge.
2 - Tea Garden - Mr. Dodge in a red chair looking at his phone - Mid Shot - Low Angle - Static
3 - Tea Garden - Mr. Dodge's phone - Over the Shoulder - High Angle - Static

Continuity Project - create a short video that uses the three basic shots of any movie to create the first scene of a movie, the LS, MS, CU
Repeat this process two more times with a different scene. You may use a different shot sequence for these two new sequences but it must show continuity
Edit your shots into a short video and be sure that you are telling a story, well at least introducing the story. Add an appropriate title to each sequence.

Here are the specs for your video:

1. You must have three shot sequences, three shots each with the following shots, LS, MS, CU in your first sequence. For the other sequences you do not have to follow this order but you must still maintain contunuity. Label both three shot sequences with an appropriate name - best to use the Lower Thirds title for this.
2. Add a 5 second title with black background and 5 second closing credits with black background
3. Add appropriate music to your video that fades in at the beginning and fades out at the end.

Submit your video to Google classroom.
