Semester 1 Final Exam

There are two parts to the final exam, a multiple choice exam and the video part of the exam. The multiple choice section must be completed first and you must show your score to your instructor before closing the window.

Robotics Club Promo Video

The video part of the final is to create a 60 second promotional video for the Sequoia Robotics club. The purpose of the video is to recruit new students to join the robotics club. Here is the information about the club:

Meeting time: After school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays Room 215
Advisor: Ms. Larkin
To Join: Stop by Room 215 (Ms. Larkin's room) at brunch or lunch or talk to anyone wearing a Purple Reign Shirt with the robotic raven!

Specs for this video:
___________Must have a title appropriate for the video
___________Must include a variety of clips with a definite sequence
(all clips are located in the Final folder on the Assignments folder on the server and must be copied to your Movies folder)
___________All clips must be edited so shooting mistakes are removed and only the best action is displayed.
___________Must include text where appropriate - should include club information somewhere in the video
___________Include at least two different transitions between clips where appropriate.
___________Include at least one FCP effect on one section of a clip to increase impact.
___________Include one section with split screen - can be two, three, four... or more screens
___________Must include background music that fades in and fades out at the end of the video.
___________Must have closing credits indicating who performed the editing and who took the shots (Tim Brand).

Once you have completed your editing you must export the video and upload it and submit it to Google classroom. You are not finished until you have confirmed that Mr. Dodge has received the file in classroom.
