Shooting Pass Rules |
|
When you are out of the classroom shooting you must follow these rules. If you break any of these rules your pass privilege will be suspended or revoked and all of your shots will then have to be done in class.
- You must remain together as a group and have your pass at all times.
- You must stay on campus at all times and must remain out of restricted areas.
- Never take a camera into a restroom or other inapprpriate areas.
- Do not disturb other classes and do not shoot other students unless you have their permission.
- No harrasing teachers, ask before shooting.
- No illegal activities, guns, drugs, alcohol, streaking...
- No Hazardous or potentially harmful shots, you are not a stuntperson
- Do not violate school rules in any of your shots.
- You must obtain teacher permission to enter another class BEFORE the class begins. Let Mr. Dodge know you what class you will be going into and that you have already cleared this with the teacher.
- In an emergency follow all teacher instructions and return to class a soon as possible.
- Be sure to return to class 10 minutes before the end of the period so your camera can be checked back in.
- No stalking of other students, see rule 4.
Rules for Students from Other Classes
- You must obtain a video pass for that student from me and you must bring that student directly to room 302 so I can explain the rules for shooting.
- If a teacher does not release a student for shooting then you will need to arrange to shoot during lunch or after school.
- As soon as the shooting is finished the student must return to room 302 to obtain a return pass for class.
- Shooting with outside students should take NO MORE THAN 20 minutes!
- If this privelage is abused then shooting passes will no longer be allowed.

Team Rules |
|
- Be sure all members of your group have equal time with the camera, don't be a camera hog.
- Always stick together
- Don't multitask, concentrate on what you are doing.
- Do assist others in your group by showing them how to properly use the camera and setup shots.
- Do Not abuse the equipment, handle it with care at all times.

- Clips and movies created for this class are for class use ONLY. They should not be used for any other purposes unless you have obtained written permission from your teacher, ALL students involved and their parents.
- Clips and movies created for this class are NOT to be placed on the Internet unless you have obtained written permission from your teacher, ALL students involved and their parents.
- Any clip involving other students cannot be posted unless all students involved have a completed release form on file which requires parental approval.
- Clips should NEVER contain the full name of any student, only first names.
- The use of all video clips is for education purposes and must not violate school rules.
