Round 1
Multiple Shot Angles with One Camera
Be sure to use the clapboard for each shot
• Record a short scene of three shots,
Shot 1 - lead up to the action shot (student running down the hallway) - shoot the same action at least two times (for each view) from two different views.
Shot 2 -
main action shot (student jumping over a table, gaurd rail, over another student...) - shoot the action at least two times from four different views.
Shot 3 - concluding shot (student running up the stairs) - shoot the same action at least two times (for each view) from two different views.
End of Day 1 Shooting
Now edit the shots into one seamless action shot switching from the different views to view the same action from multiple angles. Be sure the action is fast paced and make it as seamless as possible. Be sure to add music that adds to the suspense of the scene.

What are the requirements for the multicam editing to work? What are some strategies for using this technique? When is it appropriate?
